Nestled in the village of Nether Broughton, which is conveniently located just 16 miles from both Leicester and Nottingham, there exists a wealth of exploration opportunities.
The surrounding areas, including Derby, Lincoln, Grantham and Stamford, are all easily accessible.
Numerous National Trust properties can be reached within an hour's drive or take a shorter journey to visit the local Belvoir Castle.
A trip into Melton Mowbray, the rural capital of food is recommended to sample the pork pies and Stilton cheese. Livestock sales still take place every week at Melton Market.
The location is also positioned along National Cycle Route 48 which ends at nearby Hickling, allowing for cycling excursions with stunning scenery. Or take a trip to Rutland Water, to enjoy a picturesque cycle around the reservoir.
